Laser tattoo removal is an effective solution for the permanent removal of unwanted tattoos. We use the Harmony XL Laser with 1064 and 532 laser hand pieces to treat the tattooed area. The laser handheld device emits powerful pulses of energy to the unwanted tattoo shattering the tattoo ink into tiny fragments.
The body’s immune system gradually absorbs the fragmented pigments after several sessions resulting in the tattoo’s appearance fading. The number of treatments required depends on the size of tattoo, the ink used, skin type, the quality of tattoo and the age of the tattoo.
For the best results we recommend 4-10 treatments taken 6-8 weeks apart. Some colours may require more treatments including aqua blue, metallic colours and fluorescent colours. Maintenance treatments may be required.

Laser tattoo removal is generally not considered that painful but it does depend on the individual. There might be a small amount of discomfort and irritation to the area being treated.
No, your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Patients need to have a patch test prior to commencing treatment to ensure that there are no adverse reactions and that the correct treatment will be carried out according to the patient’s skin type. Your first treatment can then take place 7 days after your patch test.
Depending on the age of the tattoo, the ink used, skin type, the quality of tattoo and the age of the tattoo it may not be possible to completely remove a tattoo. However most people report good results and the practitioner will be able to advise at your consultation how effective the treatment should be for your individual tattoo(s).
We recommend 4-10 treatments taken 6-8 weeks apart. Some colour tattoos may require further treatments including aqua blue, metallic colours and fluorescent colours. This will be discussed with you during your initial consultation.
