What is Seborrheic Keratosis?

A seborrheic keratosis is a non cancerous (benign) skin lesion. They look like waxy or scaly growths that are slightly raised and they are often a shade of brown, black, grey or yellow in colour.

Seborrheic keratosis growths tend to appear in middle age and as we get older, but can also appear on younger patients. Typically these skin lesions grow slowly and they can get thicker over time.

Do I need to get seborrheic keratosis lesions removed?

How are seborrheic keratosis growths removed?
