What are the benefits of this treatment?

What can patients expect when they come into Clinic for the treatment?
During the first complimentary skin consultation, our patients’ concerns and expectations will be discussed. Their skin will be assessed with the Observ 520 – a state of the art skin analysis system – for an in depth skin analysis, and a treatment plan will be created and tailored for their individual skin needs. Photos will also be taken and kept for future comparison. If the patient is suitable for the treatment, he/she will be invited back in to book an appointment for the treatment.
During the treatment, once numbing cream has been applied, the dermal filler which is a gel-like substance made of hyaluronic acid- a substance already present in our body, will be injected into the lips or vermillion border to enhance or correct the patient’s lips. The gel stays in place for up to 1 year and the results are seen immediately. The lips will look great and natural with a lighter dermal filler.
The most common side effects are bruising and swelling which can last for a few days.
