Dermatologist Dr Martin Wade B.Med Sci, MB BS, FACD is a hair loss & scalp expert at The London Skin and Hair Clinic with 15 years experience. He specialises in hair loss in women, men and children; as well as scalp conditions. As an Australian trained Dermatologist he is experienced in diagnosing and treating skin cancer through his time with major Australian melanoma and skin cancer units. Dr Wade is also able to consult on all general dermatology matters and has a special interest in acne, general skin health and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr Martin Wade applies the same science and evidence-based approach he uses in his medical dermatology clinic (The London Skin and Hair Clinic) to his cosmetic clinic – London Real Skin, by offering an integrated approach to all his patients; ensuring that they achieve and maintain good overall skin health. Patients who are treated by Dr Wade for acne and are placed on a course of Roaccutane are also likely to have some degree of acne scarring. These patients are then referred to London Real Skin to undergo acne scarring treatment in the form of laser resurfacing, chemical peels, micro-needling with SkinPen treatments, Dermal Filler and / or medical grade skincare upon completion of their original course of prescribed medication. This allows for an integrated approach in combining different methods to treat his patients’ skin concerns from start to finish of their journey, ensuring that Dr Wade’s patients receive the best possible treatment results.

Utilising state of the art technology and leading skincare brands (including Obagi, and NeoStrata) – along with prescription only topicals, Dr Wade designs unique skincare regimes to address his patients’ varied & specific personal skin concerns and goals.

Dr Wade is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and on the specialist register for Dermatology. Dr Wade is also a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the Royal Society of Medicine, a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, an International Member of the American Academy of Dermatologists, an International Member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and a member of the British Hair and Nail Society.
